On the greatest experience thing, I would have to really think through all of the times. However on another note, I have an idea for brand new Christians, just saved- lock them up for a year somewhere! I know I was very judgmental as a new believer and looing back I may have run some away from God.

TJ, I was the probably like that myself for longer than a year. A year locked up probably would have waken me up , hopefully. If you think of your greatest let us know. Besides leading people to Christ, teaching the Word has been my greatest ongoing experience. Within both of those categories are experiences in themselves. That could be another days conversation. Thanks for sharing.

I have so many unreal experiences, as I had the honor to grow up around faith and spirit filled believers. I don’t share all the things because some are just too much for some people to believe. I know I could share with you. I have seen blind eyes opened, terminal disease healed instantly with full physical change and demonic spirits cast away and out of people in and by the name of Jesus. I myself have been in 2 head on car crashes, had 13 hip surgeries, watched my brother commit suicide and lots more. The only thing that kept me going was Gods hand on me. Many a doctor and even the state trooper at one accident said they thought they were seeing a walking ghost after my accident. Totaled car and I walked out of it not even realizing I was solid red with blood but somehow by His mercy I had no injuries. That’s a short version!

God has been your shield and protection through all of that. Praise The Lord.

It’s my opportunities to mentor. The greatest thrill for me is seeing someone grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
There is something about that eagerness of a new Christian that is just a joy to be around.
I have had the privilege of working with quite a few young Christians and that is some great experiences.
I hope you guys weathered the storm okay. I guess this puts a kink into your plan for this week.

Good morning. Discipline has always been a great thrill for me too. I wasn’t disciples in this fashion. Like TJ commented, when you are on fire for The Lord you need that mentor. Or else just be locked up for a year like he commented. Lol. The weather is something this morning. We have a few inches of snow and ice and 0 degrees. I have a Dr. Appt at 10:30 and a funeral at 1:00. It should be interesting since the funeral is 40 miles away and the slick roads. I do have a Jeep Wrangler though.

My greatest experience has been that He is always showing that He is with me, to answer prayer, to guide me through decisions in my life, to support me through a great loss a number of years ago. Even through those times when I don’t run to Him first, He still shows Himself!

Elaine, He is faithful to us even when we are not in close fellowship. He loves us! He never leaves us and will never forsake us. What comfort. Thank you for your comments.

That is a surprisingly difficult question. I want to answer, everything! I think perhaps my greatest Christian experience is when I’ve managed to be still and really listen to His voice. There are so many things and people in the world telling you what to do, but God is the only one that can see the whole picture and the only one who really knows you, so He gives the best advice.

All of the Christian life is a great experience. He is involved in every single aspect of it in order to receive the glory! Thank you for great comment!

I’ve just returned from the funeral but yes, it looks like a pretty good input. I appreciate them all and you as well!

I think it’s been the disciplined study of God’s word. It is how I know him best; and you can trust the Lord better when you know him well.

Hello Michael, sorry it’s been a while with no comment. I have been at a funeral this afternoon. You are quite right I believe. The Word is how He communicates to us and teaches us truth. He is the Word and the Truth. Thanks for the great comment!
