We Have A New Prayer Request

03 Nov

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
I lift up my daughter Leslie to you who not only is battling addiction to OxyContin but is seriously ill with a potentially fatal blood disorder that has cost me all of my retirement savings. I am hiding this from my husband, her step father and I feel so desperate and alone. My husband has Parkinson’s disease and stress makes it worse so I try to hide her problems and mine from him. . Please pray that Leslie is freed from this addiction and that Jesus will heal her body, mind and spirit once and for all,

With deepest gratitude and a mothers broken heart I ask for intercession for my child

Praying for Sheila, her daughter, and her husband. I pray that she may find a good confidant – friend, neighbor, minister, support group member – that will wipe the tears from her eyes and encourage her along the way as she bears her burden with Christ. May the sorrow of the Cross yield forth the abundance of God’s mercy and love and newness of life for her and her family.

I agree in prayer that God will give Sheila’s daughter Leslie that much needed breakthrough that they needed. Christ be with them. All the works of darkness begone from this family in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I’ve just read about what OxyContin is. Was gonna ask you, Levi, but thought I ought not to be lazy. No wonder this poor woman is crying out for prayer. You better believe I’ll pray.

Melissa is doing fine. I talk to her almost every day. She has backed off blogging for awhile. She had too much on her plate. She’s my girl. I’ve adopted her as another of my kids. Lol.
